The term graywood can be used for a particular type of wood or is sometimes applied to a variety of woods that are gray to smoky brown in color. Each bead is cut into a neat "kiss" or small pyramid shape with a slightly rounded point. The beads are side drilled which enables them to lie flush together in alternating directions along the strand. Take advantage of this to add visual interest to your design. Come on!
