Whitewood beads come from the wild mamalis (pangantuon) trees growing in the Philippines. The natural unbleached wood is off-white, or can be light tan to pale yellow in color. You may find some slight color variation along the strand. A perfect neutral to combine with other wood beads, shell, bone, gemstones and other natural materials. Although these beads are unfinished, they have been tumbled and the texture is smooth. Apply your own oils to finish the beads or use them as they are! Come on, let's make something beautiful!
