Large flat oval ebony wood beads are guaranteed to make a statement! You'll find a mix of caramel to chestnut brown and black and some banding, referred to as tiger ebony. The front of the bead is beveled along the edge, while the back of the bead is completely flat. Characteristically, ebony woods have a fine, tight wood grain, that takes a very nice polish. The beads are smooth and have a soft sheen when turned in the light. This bead is large enough to make a nice focal pendant, and will make a statement in any design.
