Bold, red bamboo coral in a graduated set of smooth, thin rondelles or discs, also known as heishi. These beads are an incredible, bold shade of red, with a very nice polish. Occasional faint banding and black areas, trademark characteristics of bamboo coral, are also seen. The beads are handcut, and each one is slightly different from the next. This is natural red bamboo coral likely dyed with oil or water based dyes to enhance color.
