Magkuno, also known in the Philippines as ironwood, is a very hard tropical wood that is, reportedly, the hardest wood in the world. The rich, chocolate brown wood looks great when cut into this large flat rectangle shape. Hand carved with a large rectangle cut out, embellish them by stringing a bead in the center. The beads are super smooth to the touch and have a soft sheen when turned around in the light. Perfect for an earring, or large enough to use as a focal bead.
