Magkuno, also known in the Philippines as ironwood, is a very hard tropical wood that is, reportedly, the hardest wood in the world. This has quickly become one of my favorites. The wood here is a rich, chocolate brown with a very nice wood grain. The decorative markings here are hand-carved, deep spiral grooves. These beads are lightweight and have a natural and organic appearance. You'll see a soft sheen from the wood as the beads are rolled around in the light. Very unique, these beads will bring lots of texture and visual movement to your design. Come on, let's make something beautiful!
