Magkuno is part of a group of Philippine woods also referred to as ironwood because of their hardness. This is a special lot that has a rich burgundy color that I like to refer to as 'black cherry.' The color is a very dark brown with red overtones. The beads are super smooth, with a nice polish, and fine wood grain. Try pairing them with semiprecious stones, shell, bone, and other natural materials to add warmth to your design.

Note: The color of Magkuno wood can vary. The burgundy color is available in limited supply.
