This is beautiful Impression Stone. Although it is perhaps more commonly known as Impression Jasper, Aqua Terra Jasper, and Sea Sediment Jasper, the stone itself may actually be a form of soft onyx marble, magnesite, or serpentine. These beads have been permanently enhanced and stabilized to achieve this gorgeous, purple color. Each stone is unique so you'll find shades from lavender to pink, and magenta to dark plum overlaid with wild patterns of light brown veins that course across the stone. It is an opaque stone, meaning that light does not readily pass through it, but it has intense color. These particular beads are cut into petite little rounds and have a nice polish. Come on!
