Ebony is a descriptive term that can refer to one or more varieties of dense, dark or black hardwoods. Ebony woods have a fine, tight wood grain, that takes a very nice polish. Here, you'll find a mix of brown and black shades with occasional banding referred to as tiger ebony. The beads are hand cut into a slender tube shape with a slight twist.
