The unique beads here are hand carved pieces of ebony wood. Everything is handmade from the shape of the bead to the etchings and grooves in the surface. The smaller oval is attached to the larger piece by a hand made ebony wood link. The back is flat and they are designed to be used for earrings, for example with a glue on post or clip, but could be used for other applications as well. The generous size and etchings give them great texture, visual interest, and an ethnic style. Come on! Let's make something beautiful!

Note: The color of ebony wood can vary, and your beads may be lighter with more banding or darker with less banding, when compared to the pictured beads.

Jewelry Note: We recommend roughing the surface of the back a bit with a file or sandpaper prior to gluing on a finding.
