Blue Tiger Eye Gemstone Beads This is beautiful blue tiger eye. Blue tiger eye can occur naturally, but can also be enhanced through heat treatment to the stone. This stone was actually very difficult for me to photograph. When twirled in the light, the stone shows a beautiful iridescence (chatoyance), characteristic of tiger eye. In bright light, it appears golden yellow, but in lower light, it's more blue. In most of the pictures, the iridescent flash appears more yellow. These are very high quality barrel shaped beads.
