Angelite Gemstone Beads This is beautiful angelite, a stone new to the shop. Angelite is the blue variety of anhydrite (meaning "waterless") which is a form of gypsum with reduced water. Here, you'll find the prettiest shade of periwinkle blue, great color with an almost pearly sheen. These beads are very high quality with no brown areas and and only a rare white inclusion. Anhydrite is a soft stone, usuallly polished with a hard wax and buffed to a nice luster. The smooth square shape is unique and perfect for earrings and simple designs.
