Abalone shell teardrop shaped beads have natural blue, purple, green, and gold coloring reminiscent of the sea. No two beads are exactly alike. Each bead is cut from a single piece of shell. There is a hole drilled at the top near the point of the bead. You'll find colorful flash on each side of the bead. The surface is very smooth, but note that the texture varies just slightly between the 'front' and 'back.' Nicely sized, these beads are perfect for earrings and are sure to grab attention.
