The large heart pendant is hand carved from Philippine rosewood, a hard wood with pale tan coloring and light pink overtones. The beads are hard, very smooth, with a loose, wood grain. You'll find graceful curves, with a sharper notch at the top to create a heart shape. The hole is drilled lengthwise through the center of the bead. This is a generously sized bead that would make a nice focal bead in any design. Come on, let's make something beautiful!

Note: The color of rosewood can vary. Most of the beads left in this stock are a darker rosewood.
