Madre de cacao is a very hard tropical wood that produces beads with a beautiful visible wood grain. You find warm, light to medium brown tones making this a very versatile wood bead to have in your stash. The beads are smooth with a understated polish that allows them to retain a very natural and organic appearance. Try pairing them with semiprecious stones, shell, bone, and other natural materials.
