Dyed jade in a cool icy blue. If you look closely you can see that each bead has a little bit of white at the narrow end. It reminds me of how a snow cone looks if you're drinking all of the sweet stuff out from the bottom and icy top turns white! The gemstone here is a hard, white stone, commonly referred to as 'white jade.' It is dyed through a complex and permanent treatment. The long, elegant, teardrop shape will work well in earrings, but could also be a focal bead in a necklace or lariat. Come on, let's make something beautiful!
