This is beautiful ebony wood, which can have occasional banding of dark brown and black shades, referred to as tiger ebony. The inlaid beads have a decorative inlay of white makabibi shell. There is one on each side of the bead adding white iridescent shimmer. Since the inlay is a natural material which is hand-set, please allow for some variation. Wood beads look great with a wide variety of metals. Try pairing them with semiprecious stones, shell, bone, and other natural materials. Come on, let's make something beautiful!
