Nephrite is one of the two types of genuine jade, the other being jadeite. Canadian nephrite jade has beautiful dark mossy green coloring with dark green to black inclusions. There is some variation in color between strands or beads. The stones are are smooth with a nice cut and polish. Perfect to add a touch of classic elegance or old world charm to your designs.
