Botswana agate is a naturally banded, multi-colored agate from the country of Botswana in Africa. Here, you'll find shades of nice dark gray to earthy brown, accented with striking white bands and occasional pops of pink or peach. The bead has a unique convex shape, commonly described as 'corn,' or similar to button shape. It is puffed on one side, like a round, and flat or slightly indented on the other side. There is variation in size and shape giving these beads a natural and organic feel. Botswana agate is a classic stone that will look great paired with almost any metal.
