Meranti wood beads are light to medium tan or brown coloring, and may have yellow or slightly red overtones. Most of the beads have a visible wood grain, but you'll find darker areas with less visible grain which adds interest. The wood is lightweight, but durable making it suitable for jewelry. Meranti wood is a lovely neutral to combine with other wood beads, shell, bone, gemstones and other natural materials. Come on, let's make something beautiful!
