Abalone shell is hand carved to create charms resembling large grape leaves. The colorful abalone shell forms the front of the leaf, and resin on the back forms a strong and smooth flat surface. A small hole is drilled front-to-back through the "top" of each bead. The carvings allow you to visualize the leaves hanging down. These components are handmade by gifted artisans. Please allow for slight variation that makes each charm unique. Come on, let's make something beautiful!
