Whitewood beads come from the wild mamalis (pangantuon) trees growing in the Philippines. The natural unbleached wood is tan to pale yellow, or off white in color. You may find some slight color variation, or occasional gray areas. Here, each bead is hand carved into a large flower with the hole drilled lengthwise through the bead. The flower shaped beads could make a great pair of earrings or could be used as a pendant. Come on, let's make something beautiful!
