Patikan is a hard palmwood that grows in the Philippines. The natural grain of the wood has beautiful, parallel black markings, as if it were decorated with a paintbrush. And, the older the tree, the darker the wood. Round patikan wood beads are smooth with an understated polish that allows them to retain a very natural and organic appearance.
