Mother of pearl milkfish shaped beads are handcarved from natural mother pearl. Unlike bleached white mother of pearl, natural mother of pearl commonly has golden brown coloring and an iridescent finish. Because they are hand cut, there is some variation in shape and size. The hole is drilled through the center of the fish from top to bottom. These are very smooth beads with hand carved details that give them an organic touch.
