Beautiful flat rectangle beads are hand carved from natural mother pearl. Unlike bleached white mother of pearl, natural mother of pearl has golden brown coloring and an iridescent finish. Here, two pieces of mother of pearl are joined together to form a doublet. That means you'll find beautiful golden iridescence on each side of the bead. The ends are finished with a caramel to dark brown colored resin that adds a touch of elegance to the bead. The surface is very smooth, but please allow for occasional variation with this natural material. Come on, let's make something beautiful!
