Ebony is a descriptive term that can refer to one or more varieties of dense, dark or black hardwoods. Ebony woods have a fine, tight wood grain, that takes a nice polish. Most of the beads here are dark brown, with some lighter brown beads mixed in. The beads are smooth and have a soft sheen when rolled around in the light. Wood beads look great with a wide variety of metals and will bring a warm, organic touch to your jewelry. Try pairing them with semiprecious stones, shell, bone, and other natural materials.
