Check out this cool mosaic penguin handcrafted with small pieces of shell (makabibi shell, abalone shell) and mother of pearl embedded in a resin flat back cabochon. Design ideas include wire wrapping or use a glue-on bail to create a pendant. Alternatively, a glue-on pin could be used to make a broach or gluing a magnet on the back would turn this into a fun project for kids or a great gift! Come on, let's make something beautiful!

Note: A few of the cabs have a very tiny pinhole dilled near the head of the penguin, however, we have found that this hole is too small to accept the average screw eye bail.
