Large hole larvikite gemstone beads from Dakota Stones have 2.5mm holes for big strings! Also known as black labradorite, larvikite may display iridescence or chatoyance seen as flashes of blue light. This is similar to the labradorescence seen in labradorite. But, while labradorite is a translucent stone, larvikite is opaque. Characteristically, larvikite has a silvery-gray background with occasional subtle blue flashes of light and black flecks throughout. The beads are smooth and have a nice polish.
