Sibucao is a natural redwood. The beautiful wood varies in color from deep red-orange to orange to yellow. If used for jewelry, sibucao wood will darken and become even more beautiful with age as it absorbs oils from the skin. The inlaid beads carry a decorative inlay of multicolored abalone (paua) shell on each side of the bead. This is natural shell that is handset, so please allow for some variation between beads.
