Whitewood beads come from the wild mamalis (pangantuon) trees growing in the Philippines. The natural unbleached wood is tan to pale yellow or off-white in color. You may find some color variation along the strand or occasional gray areas. A perfect neutral to combine with other wood beads, shell, bone, gemstones, and other natural materials. Although these beads are unfinished, they have been tumbled and the texture is smooth. Apply your own oils to finish the beads or use them as they are! Come on, let's make something beautiful!
